The Sigma 50-100mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art lens - The Sigma 50-100 f / 1.8 DC HSM Art telephoto lens features a uniquely high constant aperture throughout the entire focal length range. The lens is designed for use with Canon EF (APS-C format sensor) part-frame cameras and provides an equivalent focal length of 80-160mm. In addition to high quality and comfortable photography, the lens is also suitable for video production. Its bright constant aperture of 1.8 allows it to be not only a zoom but also a portrait lens. The lens successfully replaces the three main portrait fixes: 85 f / 1.8, 105 f / 1.8, and 135 f / 1.8 (35mm equivalent). The aperture diameter is the second largest in Sigma's line of lenses, and it works smoother and faster than ever before. This effect is achieved by a carbon film that covers the blades of the diaphragm, making it smoother, even during continuous shooting. The complex optical design of the 21-lens lens includes 7 elements of glass with a low dispersion coefficient (3 FLD, 4 SLD), which provides high image quality over the entire range of focal lengths. The combination of low dispersion lenses in the lens design significantly reduces chromatic aberration and color fringing throughout the zoom range, as well as high contrast and image clarity. In addition, the Super Multi-Layer Coating applied to the lens optics reduces lens flare and ghosting, which is important when working in strong lighting conditions. The updated ultrasonic motor (HSM) allows fast focusing and manual focusing by simply turning the ring at any time. Thanks to the internal focusing lens and internal zoom technology, the focus and zoom ring adjustment does not affect the lens length. 9-blade diaphragm provides soft background blur. The lens barrel is made of a combination of metal and heat-resistant composite material to ensure the same image quality when shooting in hot or cold weather. The kit comes with a petal hood and a tripod / monopod mounting leg, which simplify the process of using it and allow you to have a complete set for shooting immediately after purchase.
