Sony Alpha A7 IV Mirrorless Camera - The Sony Alpha 7 IV full-frame mirrorless camera features a 33MP back-illuminated CMOS sensor with wide dynamic range for smooth shooting of moving subjects. Video recording is possible in resolutions up to 4K UHD (3840x2160) at 10 bits and 4:2:2 color sampling at up to 60p with full pixel readout without binning. The standard ISO 100-51200 range can be extended to ISO 50-204800 for stills and ISO 100-102400 for movies for low-noise performance. A range of 15 stops allows you to visualize small details of the scene. With the 4D FOCUS system, 759 phase detection AF points provide a wide and tight coverage covering about 94% of the photo and video frame area. The Sony Alpha 7 IV's high-precision stabilization device and gyroscope sensors, together with image stabilization algorithms, provide shutter speed compensation up to 5.5 stops, maximizing the resolution and performance of the 33.0 MP camera sensor.

The BIONZ XR processor focuses on real-time autofocus processing, image recognition, and image quality adjustment to minimize latency and thereby increase video and photo processing performance. High processing speed allows you to confidently conduct continuous shooting, as well as receive a response when transferring data. The workflows responsible for the user interface, network and file management are distributed in such a way as to ensure a fast response of the camera, regardless of the current load. Choose from ten Creative Look presets and eight options to quickly set the mood for photos, videos, and live broadcasts.

Along with the usual RAW and JPEG formats, HEIF (High Efficiency Image File) can be selected for photography. Smooth transitions with a color depth of 10 bits give realistic images of the sky and portraits where subtle, natural gradation is important. Both mechanical and electronic shutters allow you to shoot over 800 frames, up to 10fps, with AF/AE tracking thanks to the α7 IV's large memory buffer, fast BIONZ XR processor, and faster memory card writing. The high speed of the new processor greatly increases real-time AF performance even when the subject looks away. Touch tracking can be used to start real-time tracking of any object in the frame with just one touch of the screen, while simultaneously autofocusing when an eye is detected.

7K full-frame oversampling for 4K movies up to 30p delivers high resolution and 4K detail. The camera is capable of recording video to the camera's internal memory at 10-bit color depth and 4:2:2 color sampling using either Long GOP or All-Intra frame coding for flexible image classification, post-processing and compositing. In addition to Long GOP, All-Intra encoding is supported, which encodes each frame individually at up to 600 Mbps, accurately captures complex motions, and makes the editing process more efficient. The XAVC recording format uses HEVC/H.265 encoding to double the compression efficiency of AVC/H.264 encoding and reduce file size to save space. Based on technologies from cameras such as CineAlta's VENICE, the S-Cinetone color scheme delivers beautiful skin tones without additional editing. Creative Look presets let you create more interesting visual effects on the fly. And using the S-Log3 gamma gives you access to the camera's full dynamic range of more than 15 stops for a more comfortable post-production process. The focus map function responds to the needs of professional writers and makes it easy to visualize the depth of field when shooting.

The Multi Interface (MI) jack provides cable-free connectivity, direct transmission of digital audio without degrading sound quality, power delivery and no worries about microphone batteries. The camera features quick and easy live broadcast setup: connect the camera to a computer or smartphone via USB and select "streaming (USB streaming). The side-opening 3.0-type touch panel LCD monitor is bright enough to provide clear images even outdoors, and the 3:2 aspect ratio makes efficient use of the display area. Two media slots allow you to continue shooting even if the memory card is full. Both slots support UHS-I and UHS-II SDXC/SDHC cards, and one of them supports high-performance CFexpress Type A cards.
