The Sony Alpha a7R IV Mirrorless Camera - features the world's first 35mm full-frame 61.0MP back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor and the latest image processor. Sony has equipped the new A7R IV with more advanced autofocus. This is a hybrid system with 567 phase and 425 contrast focus points covering 74% of the frame area. The auto focus system has real-time detection modes for the eyes of people and animals in the frame. This new full-frame model also features an upgraded built-in 5-axis image stabilization system that has been carefully tuned to support high-resolution shooting, resulting in a 5.5-stop slower shutter speed in low light. In addition, the shutter assembly has been carefully redesigned to eliminate the slightest movement that could detract from sharpness. An impressive 15-stop dynamic range at low sensitivity that delivers natural, smooth gradations from deep shadows to the brightest highlights, and uses algorithms from many of the latest Alpha cameras to deliver accurate color reproduction. When it comes to video shooting, a significant innovation is the eye focus function, which previously only worked in photo mode.
The new Alpha 7R IV features a newly developed 35mm full-frame back-illuminated CMOS sensor with a resolution of 61.0 megapixels, a world first in its class. The new sensor combines a back-illuminated design with effective noise reduction techniques to deliver extremely low noise and high sensitivity for the absolute best image quality. The Alpha 7R IV is equipped with a 5.76 million dot UXGA OLED Tru-Finder electronic viewfinder, the highest resolution of any Sony camera. With approximately 1.6x the resolution of the Alpha 7R III, the new viewfinder delivers extremely accurate and realistic images of the scene being framed. For image reproduction quality, you can select the 'Standard' or 'High' mode, as well as set the refresh rate to 60 fps or 120 fps, depending on the subject and shooting conditions. The new Sony Alpha 7R IV full-frame camera is equipped with a variety of advanced communication tools designed to enhance the professional workflow. The new model includes wireless local area network (LAN) functions to support the conventional 2.4GHz band, as well as the 5GHz band for faster and more stable data transmission. The new Alpha 7R IV offers the first wireless remote connection to a computer (wireless tethering shooting). Desired by many professionals, this feature gives much more freedom in studio and field shooting, as it allows the photographer to move freely without any restrictions.
